CONFIGURE WINDOWS COMPABILITY SETTINGS

There are many games didn't run properly in Windows 8/8.1,and it run properly in the earlier of windows version like windows 7 or XP. Windows has compatibility mode settings that allow you to trick games into thinking they’re running on previous versions of Windows. This can be useful if a game that ran properly on previous versions of Windows — whether it’s Windows XP.

To configure these settings, right-click the game’s shortcut, select Properties, and choose the Compatibility tab. Enable compatibility mode and set it to a previous version of Windows that worked with the game.

DON'T FORGET UPDATE THE GRAPHICS DRIVERS

It's important!.If you play the older games you can skip this step but if you play newer games.it may can help your problem.Updating your graphics drivers won’t likely solve issues with older games, but newer games may have issues or perform slowly if you’re using older graphics drivers. You have to update your graphics drivers regularly if you play games on your PC. Graphics hardware manufacturers are constantly updating their drivers and optimizing them for new games.

INSTALL MOD AND CUSTOM PATCH

If you have pulled the discs for a ten-year-old PC game out of your closet, you will probably want to patch it before you play it. Download the latest official patches from the developer’s website and install them. These will hopefully fix issues with modern versions of Windows as well as other bugs that may be included in the game. Modern games often automatically update themselves with built-in updaters, but older games often don’t.

FINDING INFORMATION FOR CONFIGURATION FILES

Many games have special options that are only found in their configuration files. For example, many older games may not provide an option for modern screen resolutions such as 1920×1080 in their video options menu. Rather than play the game at a lower resolution and have subpar graphics, you can often open one of the game’s configuration files and fill in the resolution you need. while a resolution may not be available in the menus, it may work properly if you enter it in the configuration files manually.For Setting the configuration files you have to find an information about,you need to make on Google or use the PC Gaming Wiki for information specific to individual games.i give you an example from configuration files .

How to Repair Bad Sectors on HDD

I want to explain to you how to repair Bad Sectors on HDD. What is Bad Sector on HDD...? Bad Sector on HDD is the conditions which the part of Harddisk cant be used by system Because of damaged Operation System in access.Damaged harddisk is very luckyless because it will make the computer running slow.





There are 2 kind of Bad sector on HDD:

• Hard Bad Sector

• Soft Bad Sector

Hard Bad Sector 

This damage is cannot be repaired because there is physical damaged on the harddisk.Hard Bad Sector is ussually is caused by Head Crash.What is Head Crash...? Hard crash is the condition which head on the harddisk is contacted with platter.Of course ,it cause damaged permanently on the harddisk. Because there are no solution from this problem, we must buy a new harddisk.

Soft Bad Sector

Soft Bad Sector is different with Hard Bad Sector.to repair this problem.I have some tutorial to repair bad sectors on HDD.

First

First way is fix bad sector harddisk using program from microsoft, chdsk.The following how to repair HDD using CHDSK:

1.Open Windows Explorer (press Windows + E on the keyboard)

2.Right-Click on the HDD want to check

3.Open Tools Tab then Click check now

4.Check two option then click Start

5.After that your Computer will restart

6.Wait the Process until the computer restart automactically.

Second

Using Command prompt via Run as adminstrator

1.Open run as (Press Windows + R) type C:\Windows\System32 then click OK.Find Cmd then Right-Click on the mouse,click Run as Adminstrator

 For Windows 8/8.1 user ,open the cmd by right click on the windows then click Command Prompt (Admin)

2.Cmd interface will be opened.Then type this following command:

chdsk r/ f/ c:

3.Press Enter

Explanation:

chdsk : command for checking the hard drive

r/        : command for moving the bad sectors

f/        : command for repairing the bad sectors

c:        : harddrive that we will repair from bad sector

4.Wait until the process done.

Third 

HDD Regenerator.You can use this software to repair harddisk form bad sector.This software can repair or check harddisk bad sector without deleting data or something like that.harddisk will be recovered .if you don't have this software you can download here  

How to Prevent Harddisk from bad sector:

• Keep your computer temperature cold.clean the patched dust 

• Turn of computer with the right process

• Avoid harddrive from the shock to prevent Head Crash

• Use updated antivirus to prevent the entry of malware

• Use disk defragmenter to prevent the bad sector
